Sanyo European HQ

Sanyo have put sustainable development at the core of their product and business strategy. On their new European Headquarters, they have installed a large array of their own solar panels.

Sanyo wanted visitors and staff-members to understand what the solar panels do, without recourse to an ugly, boring meter. They asked More to produce an engaging and informative installation for their reception area, which should also show impact in terms of kWh and carbon dioxide.

We installed 20 tiny screens across the main wall of the reception area, each telling a different story about the energy being produced. They're designed to get users to approach one of them, then a second, and so on until a clear idea of the power of the system, and the current performance, can be related to the weather outside.
